11:30 Short introductory talks on the archaeology of Worcester Cathedral and Know Your Place Worcester from Fiona Keith-Lucas, Cathedral Archaeologist and Sheena Payne-Lunn.
12:30- 2:00 lunch – bring your own food, or there are numerous cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity (including Tudor House Museum’s own café for tea and cake)
2:15 Starting from Tudor House Museum, walk along Worcester’s historic river front, taking in some of the heritage projects undertaken by Worcester City Historic Environment Record along the way, and numerous historic buildings and monuments. We will walk to Worcester Cathedral via the medieval watergate where Fiona will update us on current archaeological investigations.
