Confirmed speakers are –

  • Dr Mike Hodder (University of Birmingham), Sutton Park: the origins and layout of the medieval deer park. 
  • Dr Roger White, FSA MCIFA (Hon Senior Research Fellow, CAHA, University of Birmingham), Breaking New Ground: a research excavation at the heart of Wroxeter, 2024.
  • Dr Simon Davies (Archaeology Warwickshire), The final days of Roman Alcester: flogging a dead horse?
  • Dr Ian Parker Heath (Digging Deeper Project Manager), It didn’t always look this way! What a peat bog has revealed.
  • Dr Nat Alcock (Independent researcher), The Stratfire Project: Dendrochronology and building recording in Stratford-upon-Avon; understanding the effects of the late 16th century fires in the town.
  • Oliver Jessop, MCIFA (Director of TJC heritage, consultant to West Midlands Historic Building’s Trust), The Master’s House, Warwick.
  • Janine Young (Archaeological Consultant, National Trust), Results of a geophysical survey of the Attingham Estate, Shropshire.
  • Portable Antiquities Scheme: A brief round up of the PASt 12 months.
